What the fog is going on?

I have to admit, the fog was pretty annoying as we approached the Duquesne Incline. The worry was that we won't see the sights high above Pittsburgh. As we started the journey upwards the fog actually made for some really cool pictures. We had the best of both worlds: a spooky fog setting and then a bright and clear sunny view of the city. There is a lot of historical information here. Lots of old signage to read. It's quite fascinating.

With the cable car still featuring the original wood from 1877, there is an old-school charm about the whole thing. After the tour we went to the observation deck for the stunning views. Click to the next page to see the city.

The visuals with the fog aren't that bad, right? It's fascinating to go back in time for a brief moment and see how the city used to operate. What's really cool is the different areas of Pittsburgh that we have visited on the trip were pointed out to me. It is quite interesting to be able to pinpoint all the destinations while looking down at them.
