BREAKING BUFF: This pic got us in big trouble on Facebook

'Looking at the timeline of events, it was THAT shot of Drew that was the tipping point'

Fighting with Meta over ridiculous censorship is nothing new for our parent company. In fact, it's been nearly six years that Facebook and Instagram began arbitrarily targeting our big bro, Happy Bulge Swim Co. (They've documented a couple of the experiences HERE and HERE.)

We haven't experienced much drama with either of those social media platforms except for some bizarre attacks when we first launched in 2021. On Instagram, our ability to connect products to our page was suspended when our coffee was flagged as "fake documents, currency."

Later, Instagram began removing posts from our page without any sort of notification. It led to a few discussions of, "Didn't we post a pizza pic last week? Where did it go?" It wasn't until we started poking around in the business settings of the app that we noticed nearly one dozen "violations." It was odd because we'd never posted content that violated Meta's so-called "community guidelines."

What were the posts? Pictures of coffee beans, pizza, cake, dogs and even a shot of Leo and his sister when she visited from Brazil. They weren't even suggestive skin pics like Happy Bulge posts. It was mostly of food.
