With Brazilian Leo in our lives for nearly four years, we've heard all about the world-famous Carnival festival. It's flashy and over the top and completely not like us. Well, give us some booze and we'll make it work.
It's not an event that any of us has had the opportunity to experience (save for Leo and our other Brazilian, Boss 2) so we looked at dozens of photos and videos from South America and got some feather headdresses and colorful spandex and, well, the rest is history.
Initially, on social media, we teased we also had body paint to complete our festive looks. That was true. The problem was, we rented the costume accessories and since feathers are very easily damaged -- especially by paint -- we opted not to go full paint out of respect for the costume company.
